At Turret Training Ltd, we believe that preparation is the key to success, especially in high-pressure environments. That’s why we deliver exceptional medical training programs, designed specifically for non-healthcare professionals for the security sector.

With a series of FAST Aid courses, delivered in January, moulages and vivas tested the Security officers skills, managed by a exceptional faculty of licenced professionals.

It was a great demonstration of how candidates can deliver exceptional care and trauma skills under pressure, whilst immersed in a fully operational working environment.

From first aid essentials to advanced trauma care, our F.A.S.T Aid courses (First Aid & Specialist Trauma) have been tailored to address the unique challenges faced by security personnel.

And the feedback has been exceptional with participants praising the hands-on approach, practical scenarios, and expert-led instruction.

💡 Here’s what makes our training stand out:

✔ Real-World Relevance – Practical skills you can apply immediately in the field.

✔ Expert Trainers – Led by experienced professionals passionate about teaching.

✔ Engaging Content – Dynamic sessions designed to build confidence and competence.

We’re proud to support the security industry with training that makes a difference—not only in professional performance but in saving lives when it matters most.

If you’re in the security sector and looking to enhance your team’s capabilities in just 4 days, EDI & ESL compliant, certified by the RCSEd-Faculty of Pre-Hospital Care and recognised by the SIA , now’s the time to invest in their medical training. With the added advantage of joining the RCSEd faculty as an Advanced Provider, your company will enjoy the benefits of CPD and access to National trauma conventions , pod casts and seminars enhancing your skills portfolio.

Our endeavours continue to support the MAI recommendations, reduce the identified care capability gap , enhance the interoperability with statute emergency services and continue to drive the remarkable Figen Murray OBE Martyns Law campaign.

It continues to be a privilege to support these endeavours and protect our citizens from harm as they go about their daily lives.

As we build into 2025 we will see an Advanced NHCP trauma course ratified and certified by The RCSEd. Watch this space….

When my company was asked to support hashtag#bridgewatch volunteers from the ascension organisation in London I had no idea who they were or what they did.

So, after a few calls it became apparent these volunteers go out in their own time patrolling the City of London bridges, day or night , to help and look after very vulnerable people.

Having been exposed to many suicide incidents over the past 30 yrs police service and losing two good friends to suicide who served , it was a real privilege to help.

Our workshops worked around managing critical situations. We also donated some medical equipment to help support the vulnerable people at risk of hyperthermia this winter.

So far this year , these volunteers have been able to intervene on 53 occasions , preventing people jumping into the River Thames and saving 18 lives this year. Their compassion is beyond reach.

So when you walk on over a bridge and see these incredible people out on “patrol” take a bit of time out to just say hello and thank them. They might just need a chat too!

Have a safe day.
